As a current member of the BC Touring Council this is your chance to nominate Touring Artist/Company, Presenter and Agent/Manager of the Year for 2010! Awards for these categories will be presented at Pacific Contact 2010 on Saturday, March 27th at the Awards Dinner.

TOURING ARTIST / COMPANY OF THE YEAR

BCTC members (or groups of members) in good standing are eligible to nominate Touring Artist/Company of the Year with the following criteria in mind:
 · Toured BC within the past year
 · Demonstrated artistic excellence in their discipline
 · Demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism in touring

AGENT OR MANAGER OF THE YEAR

BCTC members (or groups of members) in good standing are eligible to nominate Agent or Manager of the Year with the following criteria in mind:
 · Attend Pacific Contact and follow up with presenters afterwards
 · Demonstrate professionalism and respect for artists and presenters
 · Demonstrate ethical and best practices in business

PRESENTER OF THE YEAR

BCTC members (or groups of members) in good standing are eligible to nominate Presenter of the Year with the following criteria in mind:
 · Be currently presenting in British Columbia
 · Attend Pacific Contact
 · Demonstrate commitment to artistic and managerial excellence
 · Demonstrate community involvement
 · Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism in presenting
 · Contribute to the awareness and development of the arts

TOURING AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

The award recipient in this category is chosen by a selection committee with input from the BCTC board of directors and is not automatically awarded each year. This award recognizes an outstanding body of work, long-standing service and contribution and exemplifies excellence in the performing arts touring sector.

RAISING CURTAINS AWARD

The Raising Curtains Award was a new award added in 2007 to recognize those who work behind the scenes. Again, chosen by a selection committee with input from the BCTC board of directors, it is an award not necessarily given each year.

Awards

An Awards committee will review all nominations against criteria and selection will be made based on a weighted (1 high - 5 low) outcome.
