Pre Conference Professional Development – International Presenters Day
If you want to further your understanding of international markets and innovative presenting practices, you shouldn’t miss this valuable day. With the financial support of Canadian Heritage - Trade Routes Program and the international networks of Joanna Maratta, Jerry Yoshitomi and other Canadian colleagues, BCTC has been able to attract a stellar group of international presenters with a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives and seasons.

    Our Objectives
  • Provide advice to Canadian artists and agents on effective ways to be booked internationally
  • Transmit information on artistic elements of presenting programs in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand
  • Transmit information on the artists represented at Pacific Contact to the international delegates as well to their colleagues back home
  • Encourage the development of collegial relationships between the international delegates and Canadian artists and agents using Network Theory and other frameworks
  • Take the first steps to form a network of U.S. based presenters who present the work of Canadian artists
For registration and Bios of International guests please go to: http://www.bctouring.org/pacific-contact/2008/pdi-detailed.html
