Making Reservations for Pacific Contact
The Vancouver (Metrotown) Hilton is the location for all conference activities except showcases. If you plan to stay at the conference hotel you need to call and book your reservation as soon as possible. A block of rooms have been reserved for March 23, 2010 - March 30, 2010. The special room rate will be available until March 5 ^th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Guests wishing to arrive early and/or leave late and take advantage of our good hotel rates for an extra stay may do so.

By Telepone: Each individual guest must make their own reservations by calling the hotel directly at (604) 438-1200. Please identify yourself with the conference as: BC TOURING COUNCIL - PACIFIC CONTACT.

Please note: BCTC apologizes for not using the Hilton 1-800 Central Reservation (call centres) but our experience is that they are unreliable with information about our booking. We ask that you call the Hilton Metrotown (604) 438-1200 directly between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and ask for "In House Reservations". All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.

Rates for Delegates:

Hotel rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. Hotel room rates are subject to 6% GST and 10% room tax.
Room rates based on single/double occupancy. There is a $20 charge for each additional person.
Non-Canadian citizens can obtain (GST) rebate forms upon arrival.
Key card must be used on the elevators to gain access to each floor. Delegates wishing to extend their stay over by one (1) day before, and/or after will be honoured with the same room rate, pending availability.

Across from Metrotown Shopping Centre. (5 minute walk)

Burnaby is centrally located and easily accessed by car, public transit (including SkyTrain) and air, via the Vancouver International Airport. Burnaby is located approximately 20 minutes from Vancouver’s city centre.

Transportation: There is no airporter to the hotel and taxi's run around $35.00

Parking at the Hotel
There is secure underground parking available at the Hilton.
For In-house guests parking is $8.00 per night.
Valet parking: 13.50
For all others first 3 hours are free and $2.00 per hour, thereafter.

Parking passes can be purchased at the hotel front desk or by machine in the parking lot.
